The Fashion and Lifestyle Accounts You NEED to Follow on Twitter

Might disagree wholeheartedly leaving your fashion choices in mid-air and you with a mismatched wardrobe! Disaster.

Rather than just leaving you all to get confused by what the coolest accessories are this season or by what colour you should be wearing to your Christmas or New Year’s Eve parties, it occurred to me that giving you some of the most authoritative figures on Twitter might be the way to go so you can take their advice rather than that of the adverts themselves.

So here are five of the biggest names and brands around right now who all have your best interests at heart when it comes to fashion and accessories for the home:

Laura Whitmore

The ITV2 presenter is currently down in the jungle presenting I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, but she’s tweeting all of her looks from the show and she looks absolutely amazing! Famous for her long legs and modern styling, the Irish beauty regularly retweets fashion advice and shares the stores where her outfits and accessories are from so you can go out and buy them yourselves. House of Rokoko

When it comes to buying fashion accessories for yourself, a loved one or your home you want it to come from somewhere that has the genuine interests of the customer at heart rather than just making money. London-based House of Rokoko is an online retailer specialising in luxury items for men, women and even babies, while also providing everything you need to wrap a gift elaborately (even with Swarovski crystals on the paper), or the kind of items your friends would love to put up in their homes like photo albums of their baby’s first Christmas. You can follow their account at @HouseofRokoko

Fearne Cotton

Fearne is a Radio One DJ in the UK with her own fashion range available on Very.co.uk. She is frequently tweeting and sharing Instagram posts of her outfits with her followers and listeners and always looks amazing – certainly not a face for the radio! She is one of the UK’s top fashion influencers and her rock-chick looks appeal to everyone, even if you’re not normally a fan of the skinny jeans, while the next day she could be in a long gown on the red carpet looking just as amazing. A real woman for all occasions and her Very range is targeted at everyone, not the high-end market. Her Twitter account is @fearnecotton

TopShop

One of the biggest high street retailers in the UK, TopShop has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion to create clothing ranges that are both stylish and affordable. Their Twitter account, @Topshop, regularly features red carpet images of stars and then links to items from their range to help you to get the look yourself for what is probably a fraction of what you might pay for the genuine garment. With all kinds of clothes, shoes, and accessories available it can be a great source of inspiration for your next outfit or a present.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini

The X Factor presenter and the pop star is arguably the biggest female star in the UK right now with millions of male and female fans, with everyone striving to get a look at her latest hairstyle or outfit and the papers always filled to the brim with stories about her. Right up there among the excitement of the acts on the ITV talent show, people are just as excited to see what Cheryl comes on stage wearing and she’s started taking to social media (@CherylOfficial) to let everyone know just where it came from, who did her hair and makeup and where you can get it yourself. You can’t help but love the Geordie lass!
