The Bay Club

We went to check out the new & improved bay club only to find out it was the slowest service ever as usual. I had to find someone to bring us menues, find someone to place our order, after a 47 minute wait I had to find someone to get our food (which was cold & not worth the money). I enjoy eating at The Bay Club. It's right on the water and is a great place for a quiet lunch while watching the boats and fishermen. Service has always been good and the waitresses are very personable. I like to go there in the spring as things are starting to get green. It gets me ready for lake season! My husband and I visited the Bay Club a couple weeks ago, and would have to say I would not go back. We sat outside, which I loved, but it was the slowest service I have ever had from the drinks to the food. (Once I even went in and went up to the bar myself to get another drink.) The food took forever for us to get, and it wasn't like they were extremely busy at the time. Not impressed! (Thu, 2011-09-15 15:38)

"We starting going to Bay Club in 2009. We went once, it took them 75 minutes to bring us out our dinner after we were served our appetizers. We gave it another try, since everyone has a bad day. Well, that was the last time we went. We thought they were under new management, so in July, 2011 we decided to go again. Our waitress was great, the chef was the worst! We upgraded our fries to onion rings for $4.00 or something like that and only got 5 onion rings. We ordered beef nachos, and we got chicken nachos. Since my son is allergic to chicken, I had to have them remake them. It came out with a dab of cheese and one glob of hamburger. I asked the waitress if this is how they are normally served and she said no, and looked very apologetic. I told her I thought the value and preparation of the food was horrible and she said that I wasn't the first person to say so, but the chef was in charge and set the prices. I said it looks like the chef was angry that I sent back the nachos, and she said he probably was. I am not being taken again. Very disappointing! Only gave two stars because of the waitress." I love going to the Bay Club and tell all my friends it's the best food around! I also love the ambiance of sitting on the bayside deck sipping a cocktail and listening to the various singers on weekends while enjoying the sunset. The best ever Sunday Bloody Mary bar is a meal in itself! I will continue to make this restaurant my favorite place to eat and relax. PS. If someone is not happy with the service or the food, they should stay home and not force the rest of the world to share in their misery. (Sat, 2011-07-23 13:08)
