I occasionally stop out at the Lodge for a meal, and the food and service have always been excellent. They have a nice selectoin to choose from and at a very good value. I have stayed at Big Sauk Resort numerous times and have enjoyed my stays while there. The Lake has above average fishing for all species, and the Food at the Lodge has always been very good. It is a smaller Resort and makes for a nice get away where you don't have all the chaos. (Mon, 2012-04-09 11:44)

We have been coming to the Big Sauk Resort with our family for years. We now have a seasonal and are very happy with it. Love that we can come and relax and not have to cook if we want. There is a grill in the lodge with great food. It is fun to go down and socialize with the other seasonals and weekend campers. We've met some of the towns regulars and enjoy their company as well. We couldn't be happier, and can't wait till spring so we can go back every weekend. We love the owners, and the other seasonals are very lovely people, just like our own little family at Big Sauk. We enjoy socializing at the lodge with seasnonals, campers, and travelers that just stop in for the great food. we had yearly reservations same week every year and then they bumped us for their friends. it is too bad a buisness would forsake a custumer this way 5 angry families that went somewhere else way better with a cleaner and better fishing lake. (Sat, 2011-09-17 21:48)

never ever ever again would I eat here on my way through.I stopped in on a fairly busy weekend and the food took forever and there was a large man with a big mouth (I think the owner) who was aabout as rude as possible!! (Wed, 2011-08-31 17:25)
